Megaburn's Natural Nutrition Launches in the USA after 12 years of Growth in Australia

GRAND RAPIDS, MI - October 15, 2009 - Megaburn International announced today that 120 days after their USA launch, they have independent reps in 25 states.

Megaburn began in a kitchen in Australia in 1997. Founder John Heffernan's premium formulas for all-natural nutritional bars caught the attention of Olympians and health food stores. Without the benefit of traditional marketing (TV ads, billboards or print advertising), Megaburn products spread throughout Australia through simple word-of- mouth conversations. Now 12 years later, you can find Megaburn in almost every GNC in Australia.

Megaburn's unique nutritional products are made with all natural ingredients including strawberries, acai berries, cherries, bananas, almonds, coconut, pumpkins seeds, grapes, honey, Brazil nuts, sesame seeds, apples, raisins and cashews. They also contain probiotics and are gluten free.

In August 2007, Megaburn's CEO Gary Mahieu developed the strategy to launch in the USA. World-class USA manufacturers were brought on board to provide jobs to the USA economy. After two years of planning and operational development, Megaburn launched in the USA on June 15, 2009.

Megaburn shifted their business model significantly for the USA Market. "In an effort to create more opportunities for Americans, we will not be selling in retails stores such as GNC. Megaburn products will be available exclusively through independent reps (iReps) in the USA. The day we opened, we had iReps in 19 States." CEO Gary Mahieu explains.
