SIGN*A*RAMA Donates to the Humane Society in Memoriam of Franchisee
(WEST PALM BEACH, FLORIDA) - September 15, 2006 - SIGN*A*RAMA, the world’s largest sign franchise, recently announced at the 2006 World Expo in San Antonio, TX the creation of the Eric Lonshein Most Valuable Player (MVP) award which will honor the late Eric Lonshein, owner of the Gaithersburg, Maryland SIGN*A*RAMA. Winning the award several times throughout his career with SIGN*A*RAMA, Lonshein was considered by many a exemplary franchisee. The first recipient of the new Lonshein MVP award went to Scott Pavloff, Jeff Grady and Terrence Flanagan of SIGN*A*RAMA – Palm Desert, CA. In honor of Lonshein’s life and his successful career as a SIGN*A*RAMA franchisee, the SIGN*A*RAMA corporate headquarters, has agreed to make a yearly donation to the Humane Society of the United States, a foundation which Lonshein personally favored.
SIGN*A*RAMA president, Ray Titus speaks fondly of Lonshein, “Eric was a wonderful, caring person. Many know him as a passionate franchisee whose competitive nature won him our coveted MVP award many times. But, some may not realize that he was just as passionate about the causes, such as animals’ rights, that meant so much to him. Naming our MVP award after Eric seems natural because of the continued success he had within our organization. Donating to the Humane Society on his behalf is just a small way in which we can honor his memory and the joy he brought to our lives.”
