DreamWorks invited 40 MAGIKID student families to the Wild Robot media premiere, where young robotics enthusiasts shared their unique perspectives on the film. The students highlighted the differences between real-world robotics and the movie’s portrayal. ABC's Good Morning Dallas interviewed the Highland Park Lab director and MAGIKID students, who also showcased their innovative robotics solutions at the event. A month later, one of the student teams went on to win the Texas Region 5 Championship.
