By using our websites, products or services you agree to be bound by this policy. We welcome your feedback, and can be reached in the ways described below.

Security

This website takes considerable precaution to protect visitors' information.

Registration forms and order forms on this website that require sensitive information (such as credit card number and/or social security number), are protected with Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption.

While we use SSL encryption to protect sensitive information online, we also do everything in our power to protect visitor information off-line. All of our visitors' information - not just the sensitive information mentioned above - is restricted in our offices.

Furthermore, ALL employees are kept up-to-date on our security and privacy practices. Our employees are notified and/or reminded about the importance we place on privacy and what they can do to ensure our customers' information is protected. Finally, the servers where we store personally identifiable information on are kept in a secure environment, behind a locked cage.

If you have any questions about the security at our website, you can send an email to linda.thompson@comexposium.com.

When you visit our website, we collect your computer's IP address. We also collect identifying information (such as your name, address, and e-mail addresses) that you knowingly provide to us - during, for example, trade show registration or newsletter subscriptions.

MFV Expositions understands that children's privacy is important. We do not monitor the age of our visitor audience. However, if you are under age 16, you should not submit personal identifying information to any MFV Expositions website without the consent of your parent or guardian.

When you provide MFV Expositions with information about yourself, we use that information internally to improve our products and services, to tell you about information on upcoming events and to confirm registration information. In addition, some of our audit bureaus may use some of this information to verify cumulative demographic statistics.

We use your fax number and e-mail address to tell you about information on upcoming events and to confirm registration information. If you do not wish to receive information from us via fax or e-mail, please let us know. Information on how to contact us is provided below.

Private information: We treat your e-mail address and fax number as private information that might not ordinarily be known to others and we do not share this information with third parties except in the following cases: (1) We need to send the information to companies who work on behalf of MFV Expositions to provide a product or service to you. Unless we tell you differently, these companies do not have any right to use the personally identifiable information we provide to them beyond what is necessary to assist us. (For example,  MFV Expositions uses an outside company to manage its registration process.) (2) You have consented to such disclosure. When you as a customer have given us permission we may make your e-mail address available to other companies and organizations whose products or services we think might be of interest to you. If, subsequently, you do not want us to use your e-mail address for communications concerning MFV Expositions products and services, and/or be shared with other companies or organizations, please let us know. Information on how to contact us is provided below. Personal information: We consider other personal identifying information you provide (such as your name, mailing address and telephone number), any optional information you provide (such as your job title and/or other demographics), and your computer's IP address to be personal information but also a type of information that would generally be available to others. Unless you tell us otherwise, we may provide this information to our business partners and to certain select third parties. From time to time, we may make our customer addresses and telephone number lists available to other companies and organizations whose products or services we think you might find interesting. If you do not wish to receive information from other companies or organizations, please let us know. Information on how to contact us is provided below. As with private information, personal information also may be disclosed if disclosure is necessary to (1) comply with the law or with legal process; (2) protect and defend our rights and property; (3) protect our subscribers or registrants from misuse or unauthorized use of the MFV Expositions site; or (4) protect the personal safety or property of our subscribers, registrants, or the public. Aggregate information: MFV Expositions sometimes provides aggregate usage or tracking information to third parties. This aggregate information does not contain visitor-specific information that reveals the identity of a subscriber or registrant. We may share this information with anyone since it does not personally identify you and is not correlated to your personal identifying information.

Information you choose to disclose to third parties: From time to time, MFV Expositions may allow third parties to advertise on our web sites, or may provide links to sites we think may be of interest to you. Any information you choose to submit will be subject to the sponsor's privacy policy, if one exists. Although MFV Expositions encourages third parties to adhere to appropriate privacy standards and policies, we are not responsible for the actions or policies of such parties.
